Mantras to Calm Anxiety

Feeling anxious lately? You aren’t alone. While anxiety was already a serious public health concern prior to March 2020, the coronavirus pandemic has made it a regular topic of conversation for most people.   • Breathe in, breathe out.
  • Just keep swimming.
  • I am thankful for my healthy body.

Choose a mantra that resonates with you and make it a part of your daily routine. Say it not only when you are feeling anxious, but also when you are not. Saying the same phrase over and over again can help your mind focus on something beyond your current situation, combatting future anxiety as well.
