Mantras to Calm Anxiety

Feeling anxious lately? You aren’t alone. While anxiety was already a serious public health concern prior to March 2020, the coronavirus pandemic has made it a regular topic of conversation for most people. In fact, a recent study reports that at least 19% of people say that the pandemic has had a negative impact on their mental health.   • The universe protects me.
  • Better days are ahead.

  • I choose to find joy.
  • I breathe in gratitude.
  • My body is strong. My mind is stronger.
  • I am peaceful in the storm.
  • Breathe in, breathe out.
  • Just keep swimming.
  • I am thankful for my healthy body.

Choose a mantra that resonates with you and make it a part of your daily routine. Say it not only when you are feeling anxious, but also when you are not. Saying the same phrase over and over again can help your mind focus on something beyond your current situation, combatting future anxiety as well.
