Finding a New Start in 2018

The last of the champagne is gone and the ball has dropped. The new year has arrived! How are you working with this transition? While new practices and goals can be started at any time, January 1 often spurs people along towards a new start. As you begin to look to 2018, take a few of my tips for making the most of this transitional time.

Begin by looking back
Before you look ahead to the new year, take time to review 2017 first. If 2017 was especially hard for you, it may be tempting to just forget about the previous twelve months. However, I suggest that you resist this temptation and do the review work. Learning from your past can help you move toward the future with solid goals.

As you look back to 2017, take quiet time to journal major events and milestones. Write about the good ones and the bad ones, as both can play a part in your future. Write down what you were especially proud of, and any break throughs that you worked toward in 2017. Write about difficult situations or people in your life. This step will allow you to see any trends or patterns that could be beneficial, or harmful, in the new year.

Look forward
Now, armed with your information from reviewing 2017, you are ready to look into 2018. What would you like to accomplish emotionally, relationally, and financially this year? Write it down and then refine your list to ensure success.

If you aren’t sure what you want, or you know what you want but aren’t sure how to get it, give me a call. As an Intuitive who has worked with clients for decades in the Chicagoland area, I love getting to know new clients and keeping up with established ones. When you come in for a reading, you will be pleasantly surprised at what you hear. Most importantly, you will leave with a clearer path and more confidence as you move into 2018.

I would be honored to walk with you through your next steps. Give me a call to set up your first appointment. Let’s start the new year together!
