Quarantine has helped many people adjust their self-care routines, and one of the biggest boosts has come in the form of daily affirmations. These are simple little positive messages that people tell themselves so often, they begin to truly believe them subconsciously. They are a great way to get through to your subconscious. It can help you see how important, amazing, and capable you are. It can also help you learn to relax and trust your inner self.
Everyone who knows me knows how important I consider daily meditation. I consider it essential to good mental health and good physical health as well. Your body responds when you coach it. That is how you lose weight, change bad habits, and more. So, by coaching your body in a positive manner instead, you can get the same type of response.
By taking 10 minutes each day and telling yourself that you are amazing, you can achieve your goals, and you are confident, you are essentially coaching your body towards positive goals. It is the same basic premise as meditating every day. The only real difference is with meditation you are listening to your body, whereas with affirmations, you are talking to your body.
Your inner self has a lot of control over how your day goes. It controls the way you approach new situations and the way your body responds when put under stressful situations. Talk to your inner self. Learn the benefits that come from internalizing what you have heard from others and taking it as true. These little moments and positive reminders can really help keep you going, even when times get tough.
